Congratulations to Sarah Grove, this year's recipient of the
Douglas Russell Memorial Scholarship. Douglas was a
student at St. John from 1989-1995 who was diagnosed with
acute myeloid leukemia. He died on October 25, 1995. The
Douglas Russell Memorial Scholarship Award was begun to
keep the memory of Douglas’ spirit alive. Students are
selected on their interest in science, love of reading and
writing, and desire to learn more about religion. We
congratulate Sarah and thank the Russell family for
establishing this sponsorship award.

Please be sure to check out the attached information
about the 2nd Annual Paul Whinnie Memorial Golf
Tournament.  We are extremely blessed to have the
support of Dr. Carnicella and her family in choosing us
one of the recipients of  funds raised from this event. If
you are able to support this event in any way (golfer,
sponsor, helper and more), please contact Nicole at
